The fee for the course is £100 which covers the cost of all materials, refreshments and NVQ certification. The course is free of charge to Building Traditional Skills Building Resilience Building Community in England, HLF Bursary Holders.
Of interest to crafts persons, builders and professionals – a two day course on Repair and Maintenance of Traditional Buildings. Participants will learn about the theory and practicalities of conserving traditional buildings from industry experts. Registration with CITB Cskills Awards for AWD053 is included in the course fee and participants will take a short test at the end of the second day. This qualification is a useful addition for those studying Heritage Skills level 3 Crafts Diplomas and CPD Certificates will also be provided.
Located in the Royal Naval Volunteer 17th Century listed pub in King St Bristol this and other surrounding historic buildings will be used to assist learning.
