We are very lucky to have secured a private screening of producer Tim Slade’s short documentary film ‘The Destruction of Memory’ which was released earlier this year and screened at the British Museum. Based on the book of the same name by Robert Bevan, ‘The Destruction of Memory’ looks at the war against culture and the battle to save it, with examples from the Middle East, Africa, The Balkans and elsewhere in Europe.
