This course will introduce those involved in the specification and inspection of historic buildings to issues of energy efficiency in traditionally constructed buildings. The course will consider both thermal/energy performance and the generation of ‘green’ energy within or on traditionally constructed buildings. Delegates will leave with a thorough understanding of the issues and the ability work through suggested interventions for buildings using conservation best practice.
