  • What is your information legacy?
  • What are digital archives?
  • Why is digital archiving important?
  • How might digital archives be utilised in conservation practice?
  • How to get started – archiving with the ADS

The aim of the morning is to provide an introduction to digital archiving for historic built environment practitioners. The workshop will present the findings of some recent work by the ADS to survey the historic buildings community on digital archiving practice. We hope to raise some thought-provoking questions on how archiving is approached and highlight past experiences. The day will also include some practical sessions on what archived information might be able to provide to practitioners as a tool for project research and beyond.
