Hitchin
A lime day has been arranged at Princess Helena College, five miles south of Hitchin, Hertfordshire. Princess Helena College occupies Temple Dinsley, an early Georgian house of moderate size, much enlarged by Lutyens in 1908. The gardens were designed by Gertrude Jekyll. The brick-built estate provides an excellent opportunity to see and to practice repointing techniques under the guidance of acknowledged experts.
