Following the recent passing of the Planning (Wales) Bill in the National Assembly, this seminar will be a timely opportunity to discuss the implementation of the Bill’s wide-ranging reform of the planning system in Wales.
Delegates will consider the likely impact of the Bill, looking at issues around improving pre-application consultation with communities, changes designed to streamline the applications and appeals processes, Ministerial responsibility for developments of ‘national significance’ and the introduction of Strategic Development Plans for issues that cross local authority boundaries such as housing supply and regeneration.
