This is the first of a two-part CPD in the High Risk series.  It covers the potential negative consequences of alterations, upgrades, maintenance and especially the introduction of thermal insulation products into traditional buildings.

In this session, we will consider the background to ‘home improvements’ and bring it up-to-date with the latest efforts towards what we now know as ‘retrofit’, EnerPHit and Passivhaus.

We will look at trends which have successful and those that should probably never have existed at all.

This training is suitable for everyone, regardless of background or experience.   No prior knowledge or qualifications is required.  It is taught in English, so you must have a good use of the English language.

The training is intended to be of most value to those who are involved in the pre-purchase survey or acquisition stage of either residential or commercial property.
