As local authorities\u2019 resources are further constrained, many are looking to local communities and experts for support in preparing heritage-related materials.\u00a0\u00a0Ranging from undertaking conservation area appraisals, surveying for Heritage at Risk registers, drawing up evidence to support local lists of assets, communities are stepping into these roles with considerable success.\u00a0This seminar is an opportunity to hear more about how this can be done and how to manage expectations.<\/p>\n

This seminar will be of interest to local authority officers and councillors, civic and amenity societies, and consultants with an interest in planning, urban\u00a0design, community action, and heritage management.<\/p>\n
