However, the subject remains a controversial one, especially as not only modern but post-modern buildings become eligible for listing. This two-day course sets out to explain what makes buildings of this era special and at special features of their construction. The course will begin by putting the buildings into their social context of the 1950s and 1960s, and there will be two sessions devoted to detailed studies by building type.
