September 2022 as a collaboration between RICS, Historic England and PCA.<\/p>\n<p>It is a landmark document that has also been approved and adopted by Cadw, Historic Environment Scotland, Historic Communities Division Northern Ireland, SPAB and IHBC.<\/p>\n<p>The document aims to finally put an end to the decades of inappropriate and unnecessary remedial damp-proofing, mostly by chemical injection.<\/p>\n<p>Undertaking an inspection of any building will, almost always, include an assessment of moisture and it is of absolute importance that the surveyor does this properly.<\/p>\n<p>This CPD session will take you through the 7 sections of JPS 2022 and will provide you with a complete understanding of how the document is to be used in practice.<\/p>\n<p>If you
