World Heritage Sites: Reflecting upon the UK’s Industrial World Heritage Sites
Speakers: Brandi Hall-Crossgrove from Ironbridge WHS and Prof. Ian Wray from Liverpool University’s Heseltine Institute
Brandi is the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site Coordinator and have been in the world heritage sector for over a decade now. She is the ICOMOS-UK Emerging Professional Representative as well as the ICOMOS EPWG European Regional Coordinator where she has brought together intergenerational dialogue to build succession planning within the organization. Brandi has also been voted onto the ICOMOS-UK Executive Committee.
Ian is the author of ‘Great British Plans; Who Made Them and How They Worked’, a columnist for Context magazine and a 50 Shades of Planning podcaster. He is Honorary Professor at Liverpool University’s Heseltine Institute and Professorial Fellow at Manchester University’s Planning School. He chairs the Liverpool Waters Conservation Board and was Chief Planner Northwest Development Agency 2000-2010.
