The ever popular co-hosted event of the year on traditional buildings returns in September. We have some of the country’s leading speakers to help us understand the underlying issues, explore some potential solutions and then discuss all this together with a Q&A session at the end of each morning.
Day 1 – 09.30am-12.30pm 28th September
Day 1 will focus on Retrofit Tools, and how to embrace the wider issues of Moisture, Embodied Carbon and Regeneration practices.
Day 2 – 09.30am-12.30pm 29th September
Day 2 will look in more depth at Significance especially in relation to non protected buildings. In Fabric First we will scrutinise what this concept means in the strategy of retrofitting a site. In the subject, Materials, we will look at the risks and causes of utilising different types and especially the impact on the environment.
Each day will feature the hotly debated Q&A whereby the presenters are asked for their expert advice from the audience.
