IHBC East Midlands and Yorkshire Branch are arranging a one day CPD event at Grimsby Docks known locally as the Kasbah.
Grimsby was once the greatest fishing port in the world and later became the leading deep sea trawler port. The buildings and landscape of the Kasbah were central to this success.

In 2017 the area was designated a conservation area and subsequently has been subject to a Partnership Scheme in Conservation Area Scheme and Heritage Action Zone.

Save the date in your diary for what will we an enjoyable and interesting day exploring this unique area and the challenges of conserving and regenerating it. A full itinerary and details of the event will be released shortly.
