In February 2013, the City of Westminster, English Heritage and the Soho Community Environment Fund produced ‘Improving Historic Soho’s Environmental Performance – practical retrofitting guidance’. The aim of this topical document is to improve the retrofitting of buildings to improve their environmental performance whilst highlighting the need to preserve their heritage value.

18 months after from the Localism Act and one year on from the National Planning Policy Framework the Historic Towns Forum invites you to join our panel of experts to find out exactly where we are now in relation to planning, historic towns, and law.
In addition to learning the lessons from a year of practical neighbourhood planning, we look at the Red Tape Challenge, the Taylor Review and where we stand in relation to historic planning and government guidance.
