The project Parnassus has been working for the last 3 years in order to identify and quantify the effects of climate change on heritage structures in specific relation to floods and wind driven rain.
The aim of this workshop is to disseminate the outcomes of the PARNASSUS project to the academic research community, as well as stakeholders.

To consider further how derelict fortifications may be preserved and re-used. In this second symposium emphasis will be placed on considering the practical aspects of how such fortifications can be re-used without these structures losing their historical integrity. Speakers from heritage bodies in the UK and from overseas, local groups involved with specific fortifications and architect practices will describe the problems they have faced and the solutions employed in preserving and re-using fortifications.
